Mummification Tickles: Ancient Egypt on the Coffee Table

Still near the beginning of our latest journey through history (a rotation that takes us about 4 years), we are studying the ancient Egyptians!

Pyramids, Pharaoh’s and mummies have been the source of play and study the past few days.  Today, as I muddled around with a migraine, the children wrapped themselves as mummies.  Much giggling ensued.  Mummification, they tell me, tickles!  Who knew!

We’ll be camped in ancient Egypt for a few weeks before digging deeper into Jewish history as they wander in the wilderness.
