Dulcimer Devotional

The PrairieFrogs and I (especially Kendra, my hammered dulcimer player) enjoyed both the message and musicianship behind this song.

I love the way he uses the dampers for a guitar-like effect; and the speed at which he performs a piece newly-written and unpracticed is phenomenal!  I don’t know the musician, but we watched several of his videos on his website.    He also does a (new to me) technique of pressing down strings while hammering to warp the sound.

Returning to the message that inspired the song, it’s a theme that’s been on my heart lately.  I must decrease, He must increase!
