I love autumn! Harvest bounty brings fresh produce to enjoy, leaves crunch beneath my feet and there is a crispness in the air.
What are your goals and priorities? Not just the big life goals, but the priorities for this specific season? Priorities shift as life presents various opportunities and challenges. The rhythm of our days beats differently at different times.
I tend to enjoy stability and resist changing patterns, so sometimes I need the reminder to not merely accept, but appreciate natural alterations in routine–whether caused by literal seasons or figurative ones!
Homeschool blogger Chautona, of Chatty’s A-musing, has an excellent article on organizing priorities through changing seasons. Like most of her writing, it is witty, inspiring and thought provoking!
I find it less frustrating to realize that one thing has to be put on the back burner knowing that it will have its season soon.
